Creating ways to communicate science through the art of anatomy

Hi friend!
My name is Amanda and I am an immunology PhD scientist. I am also the artist and maker behind Amandatomical Art, where I combine my passion for science and art by creating anatomical depictions to educate others about science.
I often use charcoal and lead to draw anatomical organs and then I translate that drawing into prints (on textbook pages), stickers, enamel pins, and notebooks.
I’m constantly inspired by the science and beauty behind anatomy and the various ways it can be visualized. In each body of work I create, it’s my goal to show others that art and science are connected.
